BCS was fortunate in that its client base included not only larger Fortune-ranked companies but also medium-sized medical device organizations as well as smaller entrepreneurial startups. With such a diverse range of clients, BCS necessarily understood the different requirements and constraints each organization faced when manufacturing Class I and II medical devices.
By forging long-term relationships with its customer base, BCS could better respond to these requirements by providing value-added engineering support that was tailored toward each organization's launch and extended well beyond the customer’s immediate product goals.
We believed direct recognition from our customers effectively conveys the dedication and commitment we strove to provide, which is why we provided real world feedback from our valued customers describing how their organization gauged BCS Machine and the support we provided.
Shown here are just a few examples of the BCS Machine Company commitment to quality, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction. BCS has been an Exactech® Level 2¹ "Supplier of the Year" for a couple of years. In addition, BCS was recognized by NuVasive® as an important contributor to their Halo™ Anterior Lumbar Plate product launch. These and other recognition awards to BCS underscored how important to us it was to provide both outstanding customer support and superior advanced medical device manufacturing services to the orthopedic community.
BCS maintained a FDA registered manufacturing facility that included: a modern CNC infrastructure, an ISO 13485 registered Quality Management System, proactive engineering support services, and an advanced virtualized computer aided design and manufacturing system. BCS had several decades of experience in manufacturing and design consultation with Class I and Class II devices for medical device OEMs and Hospital research and development organizations.
BCS provided a comprehensive package of manufacturing services for the medical community that was primarily focused on orthopedic devices. Our direct manufacturing, machining and assembly of orthopedic implants and instrumentation for total reconstructive systems was only a portion of what was provided. Additionally, many value-added customer support services were provided throughout the product development life-cycle, including: machining, prototyping, and design consultation.
